Step2. Choose Portable  Version

Step3. Unzip in disk

Step4. Execution in disk (assume it is locate in C:\Users\user\Downloads\md5check_portable)

Step5.Browse the file you want to hash , for example C:\Users\user\Downloads\CentOS-8.4.2105-x86_64-dvd1 (1).iso

Step6. The sample is CentOS-8.4 , so we go to the download site of the file , and you will find Checksum use SHA-256

Step7. Check the CHECKSUM and compare result of MD5 Checksum Tool V4.3 which is

0394ECFA994DB75EFC1413207D2E5AC67AF4F6685B3B896E2837C682221FD6B2

Bingo , they are the same.

How did it happen?

Because the Algorithm of SHA 256 is build in both the CentOS and the Checksum tools , when they measure the same file , the fingerprint must be the same. So we can use it to check if there is a little mismatch of the file between the CentOS Team release and  what we download.
